Alpha's campaign got off to a disappointing start as we suffered a defeat to Al Hilal.

Al Hilal's 8th-minute header ultimately proved the difference and was enough to hand the visitors a win.

Alpha had their chances – especially in a dominant second-half display – but failed to make that early pressure and break down the defence. As a result, the match proved to be a frustrating affair for the team.
